If your church or ministry desires to include the aspects of prophetic worship during the leading of worship please mention so. For insight on prophetic worship please see the paragraph below.
Prophetic Worship steps outside the technical correctness of a song or worship time format. It is about following the direction of the Holy Spirit. The psalmist listens to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and may give an individual a Word, or a Word may be given corporately. These Words may at times be in a song format and often times rhyme coming out in a very beautiful way. They may also be spoken as exhortations, a call to repentance or they may address certain needs. Often times there is a powerful flow of healing and restoration by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes the flow of the service may change as the Pastor or ministry leaders may sense a need to have an altar time for laying on of hands, or for kneeling in humility and reverence before the Lord. Most importantly, prophetic worship helps to lead the heart of the worshipper into a place of yielding to God's thoughts, which are higher than ours.
